Tesla continues to grow its charging infrastructure across Canada, with a brand-new Tesla Supercharger station currently under construction in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This expansion strengthens charging accessibility for both new and used Tesla owners across the province — including popular models like the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y.
New Supercharger Location
Located at 4700 Boulevard de Portland, the new Supercharger site sits in a busy commercial district filled with convenient amenities, allowing Tesla drivers to relax, shop, or dine while their vehicles charge. Based on construction photos, the Sherbrooke Supercharger will likely feature 12 next-generation V4 stalls, capable of delivering up to 325 kW of power to compatible vehicles — a major upgrade for the region’s EV drivers.
The project was first reported by Jaslesp on the TMC forum, who shared early on-site photos showing that underground conduit work is already complete, Supercharger cabinets have been installed, and V4 charging posts are waiting to be put in place.
Interestingly, this Sherbrooke Supercharger first appeared on Tesla Canada’s official “Find Us” map in October 2024, was briefly removed, and then reappeared recently as “Under Construction.” This aligns with Tesla’s more transparent approach to communicating its Supercharger development process.
Once operational, the Sherbrooke station will significantly boost charging capacity in the region, which currently only has one 8-stall V3 (250 kW) Supercharger location. This addition complements a growing list of Tesla Canada Supercharger projects either under construction or waiting to be energized in Drummondville, Quebec City, Mont-Tremblant, Rivière-du-Loup, Chambly, Brossard, and Laval.
While Tesla has not confirmed an official opening date, typical construction timelines suggest the Sherbrooke site could go live within the next few months, depending on weather conditions and final utility work.
