This sizable EV features a large 107.8-kWh battery that gives it a range of up to 770 kilometres. Furthermore, the EQS can charge its battery to 70% capacity in around 35 minutes using a DC fast charger, vs approximately 11 hours with a 240-volt Level 2 charger.

2. Tesla Model S

Range: 637 to 652 km

Starting MSRP $64,500 CAD

Tesla Model S Plaid, an ultra-high-performance version with 1,020 horsepower and a range of 652 kilometres, was just added to the company’s lineup. Regardless of which model you choose, the Model S has a full-time all-wheel drive. With the 1020-hp Plaid variant, the Model S can be used for extended distances while simultaneously delivering supercar acceleration. The Model S is an extremely practical electric vehicle, with a spacious back baggage area and a second front trunk for additional storage. However, the Tesla Model S’s charge times are considerable; notwithstanding the benefit of using Tesla’s supercharging in public settings.

3. Tesla Model Y

Range: 488 to 525 km

Chevrolet is giving their popular Bolt hatchback a makeover to make it more SUV-like. The Chevrolet Bolt EUV is a pure electrified 5-seater electric vehicle that is available in two trim levels. In terms of shared interior, comfort, and feature content updates, it’s even better. The Bolt EV has a combined EPA-rated range of 383 kilometres and a city driving range of 410 kilometres. It’ll get 125 MPGe in the city and 104 MPGe on the highway, according to estimates.

The Bolt EUV has features that the original Bolt lacked, such as a longer wheelbase for more back-seat capacity and the option of Super Cruise. This family-friendly electric vehicle offers 398 kilometres of driving range on a single charge, equivalent to 115 miles per gallon while maintaining the Bolt’s standard safety features and great value.

8. Tesla Model X

9. Porsche Taycan GTS

Range: 480km

Starting MSRP $125,995

With a range of 504 kilometres, the new Porsche Taycan GTS boasts the longest WLTP-estimated range of any Taycan model. This is due to a revision to Porsche’s energy management system for the 93.4-kWh battery. To ensure that no Taycan is left out, starting in 2022, every other Taycan will receive the same system. As a result, the cars have an extra 20 kilometres of range. However, because the WLTP standard is more optimistic than the ones used in North America, the Taycan GTS should be able to travel approximately 400 kilometres in regular driving circumstances.

10. 2022 Audi e-Tron

Range: 357km

Starting MSRP $59,950
