Tesla model S

MSRP: $79,900

Range: 521km

The BMW iX SUV offers similar space and practicality to the brand’s popular X5, but with cutting-edge flair, foreshadows BMW’s electrified future. The all-electric BMW iX is surprisingly spacious, comfortable, efficient, and agile for its size. The two electric motors provide all-wheel drive and plenty of power—516 hp in the xDrive50 and 610 hp in the M60—while a large battery pack provides enough juice for an estimated driving range of more than 521km per charge.

2022 Kia Niro

MSRP: $37,350 – $47,000

Range: 385 km

The Kia Niro EV is one of the best new electric vehicles on the market and is well worth to take a look. The Kia Niro is enjoyable to drive and has a spacious cabin. The electric Kia Niro offers a generous 385 km of autonomy in all three versions: EX, EX+, and Touring, thanks to a 64 kWh polymer lithium-ion battery and an AC permanent magnet synchronous motor.

ID.4 Volkswagen

The 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 is equipped with an 82-kW lithium-ion battery pack. The 77-kW net usable power will allow the single-motor RWD models to travel up to 400 kilometres on a single charge. The optional dual-motor configuration reduces range slightly, as the AWD ID.4 travels an estimated 386 km between full charges.

Top rated electric SUVs with the longest range

Tesla Model Y

MSRP: $76,990 to $78,990

Range: 488 – 531km

When it comes to buying an electric car, range is everything, and the Tesla Model Y Long Range and Performance models have 488 to 531km of range, respectively. When compared to competitors such as the Ford Mustang Mach E and the Volkswagen ID.4, its estimated driving range is great, and the Long Range trim promises up to 531 km per charge. The Model Y is a stylish and spacious electric SUV that has a lot of appeal and well worth for a look.

2022 BMW i4

MSRP: $54,990

Range: 484km

The BMW i4 is the company’s latest all-electric sedan, based on the 4 Series Gran Coupe. The all-electric BMW i4 combines the styling of the 4-series Grand Coupe with a battery powertrain and highly tuned driving dynamics. The sportier M50 model employs dual electric motors to provide confident all-wheel-drive traction and a whopping 536 horsepower. The i4 also has a 484km battery range, charges quickly, and equipped with a lot of cool technology features.

Polestar 2

MSRP: $53,950 – $58,950

Range: 395km

Volvo’s new Polestar 2 is the company’s first all-electric vehicle. The Polestar 2 is an electric vehicle that blends sedan style, hatchback functionality, and crossover seating height. The Polestar 2 is limited to a huge battery pack and an electric motor powering the front wheels—or two electric motors if you opt for the more powerful all-wheel-drive option. It has excellent driving dynamics, strong technology supported by Google, and an easy-to-use interface.

GV60 Genesis

MSRP: $71,900

Range: 383km

With its satisfying and whimsical 2023 GV60 crossover, the ambitious Genesis luxury brand is tackling the luxury EV segment. The GV60 borrows styling cues from other Genesis models. There are two trim levels to choose from: 314-hp Advanced or 429-hp Performance; estimated driving range ranges from 383 to 400km with one charge. Rival luxury electric SUVs such as the Audi Q4 e-tron, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and the coupe-like C40 Recharge offer comparable prestige and driving range, but the GV60’s attention to detail and amusing flourishes make it an appealing and offbeat alternative.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD Limited

MSRP: $47,650 – $55,000

Range: 383km

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 debuts with retro-inspired styling and the latest in electric vehicle design. It’s also spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The Ioniq 5 is expected to have a range of 383km with the standard 58.0-kWh battery pack. While it lacks the range of the equivalent Tesla Model Y or Ford Mustang Mach-E models, this all-new all-electric SUV has a lot to offer.
