Ford Mustang Mach-E

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is an electric SUV that channels its performance and sports car heritage. Under the muscular styling and a 490 km maximum driving range. The Mustang Mach-E’s battery pack is rechargeable at home or on the road at one of the many electric-vehicle charging stations.  The Ford Mustang Mach-E standard battery pack has 70 kWh of usable capacity, with an optional extended range pack that has 91 kWh of usable capacity. The extended range pack can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 45 minutes.

Volkswagen ID.4

The Volkswagen ID.4 has a range of up to 400km for rear-wheel drive and up to 386km for all-wheel-drive. The Volkswagen ID.4 is a great balance between sporty and practical with a long-distance range. The company says that an ID.4 can reach 80 percent charge in about 38 minutes with 5 percent battery remaining at a DC fast-charging station.

Mercedes-Benz EQS

The Mercedes EQS sedan is the first fully electric vehicle of the brand. The EQS is lined with luxury and spacious interior and large cargo space, the EQS is worth the name of an electrifying luxury car. This sizable sedan has a large 107.8-kWh battery that tops up to 770 kilometers of range.

With the ability to take up to 200 kW of fast charge, the EQS can replenish 70% of its battery in about 35 minutes using a DC fast charger. If charged with a 240-volt Level 2 charger, it takes approximately 11 hours.

Tesla Model S

As one of the fast charging electric vehicles, it is still a bit tricky when it comes to estimating the charging time of Model S. Because Tesla is constantly improving the EV. Tesla has even sent out software updates that can speed up charging time for all Model S owners.

Tesla Model S is one of the most compelling options in today’s growing market segment of EV. Model S is capable of handling 22 kilometers range per minute with a max charging rate of 250kW. Furthermore, the company recently added an ultra-high performance version called Plaid that has 1,020 hp and 652 kilometers range. The Plaid Plus can even charge an additional 322 kilometers of range in about 15 minutes of DC fast charging.

Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is an affordable electric car with Nissan’s user-friendly tech and excellent driver assistance features. The leaf is capable of fast charging of 20 kilometers of range per minute.

With its 40kWh battery and 147hp, and thanks to its relatively lightweight, Nissan Leaf offers an all-electric range of 243 km. While most of the Fast-Charging Electric Vehicles are luxurious with high price tags, the humble Leaf’s base model price only starts at $34,780. Moreover, the Nissan Leaf has a host of high-tech driver-assistance features available including a semi-autonomous driving mode, its cabin is comfortable and spacious. 

Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan brings Porsche’s technology and prestige to the fully electric market. It has a luxurious recognizable design, it drives with all the enthusiasm of a sporty Porsche. Porsche’s Taycan Model-S-fighter is capable of a quick surge of charging. It can give you 25 kilometers of range in one minute as the manufacturer claims. At 326 kilometers per charge, Taycan’s ‘DC fast-charge system charges the car to 80% in about 20 minutes. The manufacturer says the Porsche Taycan can charge up to 270kW in ideal conditions, which charges even faster than Tesla.
