Tesla has released its latest update to the Canadian Supercharger network in September 2025. This round of changes includes the removal of several planned sites, the addition and reinstatement of others in ontario, and confirmation of new locations currently under construction. Newly Added or Reinstated Sites

  • Ontario: Madoc (reinstated), Kingston (two confirmed sites)
  • British Columbia: Comox, Keremeos, Penticton, Vanderhoof (replacing Burns Lake), Surrey (88 Ave between 120–128 St)

  • Alberta: St. Albert (re-added, boosting Edmonton region coverage)

  • Quebec: Alma (returning after removal in February)

Under Construction

The following sites are confirmed as actively under construction:

  • London, Ontario

  • Drummondville, Quebec

  • Quebec City, Quebec

So far, no photos or on-site reports have been shared, but local Tesla owners are encouraged to check in and contribute updates.

Removed Sites Across Multiple Provinces

  • British Columbia: Campbell River, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna

  • Quebec: Around Montreal – Mirabel, Laval, Brossard, plus Saint-Germain-de-Grantham and Rivière-du-Loup (already under construction)

Important: These removals do not mean existing Superchargers have been shut down. Instead, they were “in development” sites that Tesla has decided not to move forward with—likely due to land agreement challenges or shifting demand analysis.

Outlook

Tesla’s Supercharger map continues to be highly dynamic.

  • “In development” pins should be seen as signals of intent, not guarantees.

  • The addition of new sites demonstrates Tesla’s commitment to expanding its Canadian charging network.

  • Drivers in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec will see improved charging convenience as these plans progress.
